The next Steak Under the Stars will be a night of Western Expressions, including black pot desserts, our excellent meats, local music, and western-themed vendors.
The Steak Under the Stars event is Saturday, September 30, here at Piguet’s Prime Time. Tickets are $100 each, and they will go on sale on Open Table on September 1.
The drinks and hors d’oeuvres start at 6:30 p.m. and will feature a Fall Grazing Table and two custom cocktails: Piguet’s Harvest Peach and a Blueberry Mojito. Dinner is at 7 p.m. and will include:
- Winter squash soup,
- Fall harvest salad,
- A three-species trio of meat, including filet medallions with mushroom wine sauce, Cornish hens with hot honey glaze, and pork chops with maple apples,
- A cornucopia of roasted fall vegetables,
- Brown rice risotto with fried sage, and
- Black pot peach cobbler with homemade ice cream and Crown caramel sauce.
We will also feature the Guthrie-based distillery WanderFolk Spirits, which will host a vodka and bourbon tasting. Formerly Prairie Wolf Spirits, WanderFolk is Oklahoma’s first legal distillery, established in 2012. Its history, however, can be traced back to around the turn of the 20th century.
Another local western-themed vendor will be silver maker Mandy Andris, with items for sale and fascinating demonstrations. Mandy’s jewelry is all individually handcrafted and her shop is located near Bluejacket.
Finally, the dance floor will be open to the tunes of Hwy 69’ers, who are a “red dirt country band from Northeast Oklahoma bringing you all your favorite cover songs plus those HWY 69’er originals.”
