A warm welcome at Piguet’s Prime Time

When guests arrive at Piguet’s Prime Time, they are greeted with a cheery smile and a welcoming hello.

Patti Zimmerman has been our hostess for nearly two years and she tells us she loves working as part of our team.

“It’s a privilege for me,” she said.

Her primary role is to greet guests as soon as they arrive and guide them to their seats.

“Carolyn lets me be me,” Patti told us. “I love meeting new people. When people arrive, they are almost all in a good mood because they know they are about to have a five-star meal.”

Patti said that people are still in a good mood when they leave as they’ve had a great experience.

“All I get are compliments on the food and the service,” she said.

Patti also had compliments on her own.
“I love how Carolyn pinpoints our talents and gifts and then utilizes them in the restaurant,” she said. “The staff has so much camaraderie and we get along so well. It’s just so enjoyable.”

How did she come to join our staff? She had a friend who knew both her and Carolyn who knew that Patti was preparing to retire soon from her job at the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
“She thought I would love to be a hostess,” Patti said. “I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I’ve met some of the most interesting people.”

Much of the people she meets are from out of town or retired guests who are coming in from the lake, Patti said. While our guests are diverse, Patti agreed that they have one thing in common.
“They comment on the quality of the food and service,” she said. “It makes my job easier.”

Patti is about to retire from working for 20 years at ODOT, and before that, she worked for eight years for Craig County. When she’s not working as a secretary or as our hostess, she enjoys spending time with several life-long friends.

We are delighted to call Patti a friend!
