We are beyond excited to announce that Piguet’s Prime Time is opening! We wanted to let our owner and founder, Carolyn Piguet, share the story because as she says, this restaurant is so much from her heart and family.
First, the details:
We will open 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 4. Our hours will be 5-11 p.m. every Friday and Saturday night! We highly recommend reservations on Open Table as reservations will be given priority seating. From what we’ve heard during our soft openings, the restaurant will be busy!
Now, let’s hear from Carolyn:
This weekend is the first time my restaurant has been open to the general public. Between the weather, COVID, and other events, this process has taken a lot longer than anticipated. We’ve literally built this thing from the ground up! Between working with construction crews to manage the project, I’ve been busy learning all the specific laws and regulations that go along with owning a restaurant. I’m familiar with food handling laws and so forth because of my many years of catering but owning a restaurant has its own list of rules that you have to follow.
I’ve worked four years to get to this point. There has been so much planning, hoping, and work to get to this point. There is a lot of me in this restaurant from personal pictures of my family and some of my decorations. I hope that people understand that this is an extension of me. That’s why we built the restaurant right next to my house. I want them to feel like they are coming into my home for an amazing dining experience.
That’s ultimately been the goal this whole time. Our team’s goal is to provide an experience that is a wonderful dining adventure. Every detail from the menu to the landscaping to even the seating has been focused on that experience.
I love this community and so much of what you will find in this restaurant reflects that from my own touches to the fact that we focus on locally grown food. Much of the food you will eat is grown or raised right here in the area.
For example, starting out we will have local strawberries and greens, and local pork, prime rib, and of course, our steaks. Unlike most restaurants, we will have prime rib available both nights we are open!
I feel so blessed and excited to finally be able to share this dream of mine with you. Come visit!
