Labor Day and the Beginning of Fall

Can you believe the summer is just about gone? We have had an amazing summer with the opening of our restaurant and the growth of our catering business Piguet’s Catering.

While the official end of summer isn’t until mid-September, most people consider the start of school and then Labor Day (September 5) to be the end of summer and time to get back to more serious things and a schedule.

Our restaurant won’t be open on Labor Day, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy our food! Do you have friends or family coming into town for the long weekend and you’re not up to cooking? Make a reservation at Piguet’s Prime Time for Friday or Saturday night! Let us be the chef for at least one meal.

Are you cooking at home but don’t want to do all of the work? Call ahead and Piguet’s Catering can prepare some food for you. Depending on what it is, you can either uncover and serve, simply heat it up, or cook according to our instructions. We’d love to work with you on making your final party of the summer tons of fun. This can also mean some of our meats! No matter what you order ahead, it would need to be picked up by Saturday so make sure to keep that in mind when making plans.

Casserole Catering mealAs we move into the fall, all of us at Piguet’s Prime Time are excited to start serving autumn seasonal foods. You want to miss what we will be offering! As the temperatures start to cool (hopefully sooner rather than later), we also look forward to opening our outdoor seating area. This will not only expand our restaurant’s capacity, but it will also give our patrons yet another option to enjoy their visit. As more people travel Route 66 or start to do fall leaf tours, we hope that they will join us for outdoor dining!

What are you doing for Labor Day? What are you looking forward to the most with fall coming? Let us know how we can be a part!
