New beef cross perfect for Christmas

New beef cross perfect for Christmas

As you’re shopping this holiday season, preparing for Christmas dinners, and scheduling year-end parties, a new option at Piguet’s Prime Time will be sure to delight everyone’s taste buds.

Cow from the Piguets heard. Hereford Angus WagyuWe’ve always been known for our amazing wood-fired steaks that are perfectly hand-cut and cooked to perfection. The Piguet family has also been known for truly taking the farm to fork concept to heart by raising their own cattle. Well, prepare yourself for some of the best beef you’ve ever had this December.

That’s when Piguet’s Prime Time introduces our Hereford/Angus/Wagyu cross cattle. Genetically speaking, those are the top three breeds of cattle trusted for the most high-quality beef. These first-generation (F1) cattle will be processed locally, which means we also support another local business. We have raised Hereford/Angus cattle for many years and recently crossed them for the first time with our Wagyu provider.

Angus, originally from Scotland, tends to provide well-marbled meat. Herefords, originally from England, are another high-quality breed with a high marble score. They are heartier and bigger than Angus, and it’s common to breed them together for quality meat. Wagyu is considered a top meat-producing breed from Japan.

Piguet cattle heardWe will have some cuts available to sell as well as ground beef and roasts at the restaurant. You can look forward to ribeye, filet, KC, flank, and skirt steak to choose from. We will also be introducing chicken fry on the menu for the restaurant, which will provide you and your guests will yet another unique experience! Together, we think these three breeds will produce meat that will amaze all our patrons!

Anyone who has tried our food before knows it’s focused on seasonal offerings that are delicious and made-to-order. We will also be introducing seasonal desserts, drinks, and other offerings.

We look forward to seeing you this holiday season and into 2023!
