We’re opening a market!

We here at Piguet’s Prime Time are excited to share some big news! We will be opening a retail market next to the restaurant that will be open whenever the restaurant is open. What’s more, we will be adding a Saturday morning breakfast buffet to go along with Saturday morning at the market.

Where did this idea come from?

Our founder, Carolyn Piguet, has wanted to do something like this since the restaurant opened almost two years ago. Her recent attendance at the Oklahoma Local Ag Summit convinced her now is the time to take the leap. Always the learner and educator, she attended the summit to broaden and enrich her already amazing capacity for Farm to Fork at our restaurant and our other ventures, including catering.

The Summit is a multi-day conference that featured a variety of hands-on workshops, panel discussions, and traditional conference sessions of interest to farmers market managers, producers, community support organizations, and agritourism site managers.

Locally grown vegetables at the Piguet MarketCarolyn wanted to find more vendors to broaden our offerings, and it was through that process that she realized she could make this market a reality. Finding more local vendors allows us to open the retail operations for customers coming in and also provide farm to fork offerings for people wanting local healthy food to cook at home.

It wouldn’t be Piguet’s Prime Time Market without Piguet’s signature cut Wagyu steaks, a broad range of homemade sausages, cold cuts, and Wagyu ground beef! We will also have baked goods, produce, and other goods from all local providers. Everything you find at this market will be high-quality and without preservatives!

Not only will we have a delicious variety, but it will be accessible to a broad range of customers. We will be set up to accept SNAP and vouchers from local senior programs. We will be doing even more to bring farm to fork food for our entire community. Anyone who knows Carolyn knows she loves taking care of all our customers and the entire community through quality, amazing food and this is just another way to accomplish that!

The building is being fabricated and we expect to be up and running this May. We can’t wait to see you there!
